Join fellow Probus club members on a trip to Muskoka on Thursday July 10th. Start with a tour and lunch at the Canadian Race Boat Hall of Fame and Museum followed by a Boat Cruise from Port Carling on The Peerless II with commentary by Captain Randy Potts cruising both Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph. Optional extension - stay overnight at Windermere House.
Arrive at the spectacular Canadian Race Boat Hall of Fame and Museum located at 1512 Muskoka District Road 118 West Bracebridge at 11am. Start your day by touring the museum followed by a catered lunch. The caterer is well-known for their delicious sandwiches and salads etc. Lunch includes sandwiches, salads, dessert, coffee/tea. Sandwich platters will include an assortment of classic corn beef, classic pastrami, classic smoked meat, Reuben, roast beef, veggie, and honey ham. Choice of 2 salads: pesto quinoa with feta cheese, mixed greens, Caesar salad, Greek salad and an assortment of squares for dessert. Then drive to Port Carling and board The Peerless II. The boat departs from Port Carling (100 Joseph St) at 2pm sharp and returns at 5pm. Event runs rain or shine. Then drive to Windermere House for your overnight stay.
Costs: Boat Museum and catered lunch $55. Boat Cruise $65. Windermere House hotel room prices: Gardenview $349, Lakeview no balcony $449, Lakeview with balcony $469. Room rates include hot breakfast buffet (eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, french toast, assorted pastries, cold cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt. Taxes are extra. Amenities include hot tub, pool, canoes, kayaks, tennis, pickleball, fitness room, saunas and firepits. 15 rooms are being held for our group.
Registration is a 4 step process.

Step 2) Contact Ann Curley at the Canadian Race Boat Hall of Fame at 705-708-2500 to book and pay for the catered lunch buffet at the Boat Museum and advise of any dietary restrictions. Deadline July 3rd.
Step 3) Book room at Windermere House. Contact Morgan Jennings 705-769-3611 Ext 808.
