Speaker: Brian Stevens, DVM, DVSc, DACVP - Wildlife pathologist, University of Guelph
Brian Stevens is a wildlife pathologist for the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative Ontario/Nunavut region, which is based out of the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph. Brian has been working as a veterinary pathologist for the past decade and began his career at the University of New Hampshire where he worked on wildlife projects involving disease investigation in Canada lynx, mortality of moose in New England, and mass mortality events involving Northern gannets.
Waterfowl Mortality Event Happening On Georgian Bay
Brian will be discussing the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative and the work performed by this organization and his role as a wildlife pathologist. He will also discuss diseases of wildlife in Ontario with a specific focus on diseases affecting wild birds in the Georgian Bay area.
