We will meet at a trailhead near Duntroon on Thursday March 13 at 10am for an in and out hike with spectacular views, passing the "wedding tree". Specific directions will be sent to registrants. The trail is mostly flat with some undulations and has been recently rerouted to take advantage of even better views. Hopefully, we will use snowshoes and poles but icers and poles may be more appropriate depending on the amount of snow. After the hike, we will drive to Nottawa General for lunch in the gallery room upstairs. We will order from the regular menu and pay the restaurant directly. There will be a dessert special of chocolate cake with berries and whipped cream available for $7. 

If the weather is unsuitable for hiking, the hike will be cancelled, but the lunch is still on. Plan extra time to explore the store and art gallery in this historic building, originally a fur trading post.
