Jory Pritchard-Kerr moved to Collingwood in 1982 after graduating from the University of Waterloo.
Jory began leading the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation in 1988. She and her team are responsible for raising money to fund the vast majority of capital equipment at CGMH which is millions of dollars annually.
Jory has volunteered extensively with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) serving as the Chair of the Board of this international association from 2016 to 2018.
She is a frequent speaker on the topic of healthcare philanthropy having presented on multiple occasions for the AHP in Canada, the US and Germany.
Jory was the fifteenth Canadian to be awarded the AHP Fellows professional designation in 2007 and was award the Si Seymour Award in 2022 which recognizes distinguished leadership in the health care philanthropy community.
Jory and Doug Kerr raised three boys in Collingwood and are delighted to have their six grandchildren living in Collingwood too.
