We invite you to join us on a haunted walking tour on the evening of October 17th starting at 6:30 p.m. under the full Hunter's Moon! You will have a spook-tacular time listening to tales and ghostly stories as guest host Dean Hollin leads you through the shadows and darkest corners of Collingwood's Heritage Conservation District.
While on the walk, you will hear about ghostly experiences including the legend of David Williams, former editor of the Collingwood Bulletin newspaper, the ever-persistent ghost of Dr. Arthur, the tragic slaying of 13 year old Glory Whalen (among Ontario's oldest cold cases), and other strange sightings.
This 2 km walking loop will take approximately 1.5 hours. The haunted walking tour will proceed rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots. In the event of a storm or heavy rain, the event will be rescheduled to Thursday, Oct. 24th.
Registration opens Sept. 11 to Oct. 14. Cost is $16.00 per member.
