Activity Groups Being an active member of one or more Activity Groups will increase the variety and number of opportunities for you to meet other members and connect. To learn how to get involved, read through this entire section of simply click on one of the green links below to go directly to the specific topic that is most relevant to you. There are two criteria for forming a new Activity Group:
If you have an idea for a new Activity Group, please get in touch with our Activity Chair at gatewayprobusactivities1@gmail.com Someone will be in touch to explore the opportunity with you. Joining an existing Activity Group You must be logged in to join an Activity Group. Once you are logged in, you can join an Activity Group using the website or the mobile app. Using the website. Go to the home page and click on the Activities button on the horizontal menu. A list of Club Activities will appear. To learn more about a specific activity, click on that activity. A description of the activity will appear and you will see a button that either says “Register” or “Waitlist”. If there is a Register button, click on it to join the group. You will receive a confirmation email and invitations to future get togethers of that Activity Group. If you see the “Waitlist” button, the club is currently full. Click on the waitlist button and add your name to the waitlist. Waitlists are monitored on a monthly basis and when there is sufficient interest, or if an existing club member cancels their membership in the activity, members on the waitlist will be invited to join in the order their names appear on the waitlist. Note: A second way to access Activities from the website is to hover over the Activities button. A drop down list of activities will appear. Click on the activity that interests you and read its description. If there is room for new members in the group, you will see a Green button that says "Register". Click on it to join. If the group is full, you will see a green button that says "Waitlist". Click on it to add your name to the waitlist. Using the Mobile App. Open the mobile App and click on “Events” on the bottom of the screen. Scroll down until you see events under the year 2030. Each of these events represents an Activity group and is in the following format “Registration for X Club”. Click on the Club you want to learn more about. If you would like to join that group, click the Register button and follow the instructions. If the Club is full, you will see a waitlist button instead of a Register one. Be sure to put your name on the waitlist as waitlists are monitored monthly to see if we have sufficient interest to form a new group. Cancelling Registration in an Activity Group Using the Website. There are two ways to cancel registration in an Activity Group. Click on the Activity button on the horizontal menu or update your profile. If you go in through the Activities button, click on the Club you no longer want to be a part of. Click on "already registered". Select "Cancel" and follow the instructions. OR Click on "My profile". Select "My Event Registrations". Scroll down and select the Club you no longer want to be a part of and follow the instructions. Using the Mobile App. Open the App and Click on "My tickets" at the bottom of the screen. Select the Club you no longer want to be a part of. Select "Cancel" and follow the instructions. Checking to see what Activity Groups you are a member of Using the website. Go to your profile and select “My Event Registrations”. Activity Groups you have joined will be listed in the format “Registration for X Club”. Using the mobile app. Click on “My tickets” and scroll to the bottom. All Activity Groups you have joined will be listed in the format “Registration for X Club”. What to do if you still need help.
